The whiskey, part of Bardstown’s ‘Collaborative Series’, contains nine-year Bourbon that has spent 18 months in barrels previously used by Kentucky’s Copper & Kings to age Destillaré Orange Curaçao. Available in limited numbers, the expression represents the sixth time Bardstown Bourbon has teamed up with Copper & Kings in the series.

“There’s a lot of satisfaction in developing and shaping whiskey into surprising and adventurous profiles,” said Copper & Kings’ founder & CEO, Joe Heron. “The collaboration with kindred spirits is what truly polishes the liquid.” 

The most recent collaboration between the two craft distillers came earlier this month, when Bardstown released Copper & Kings Sherry Finish.
