On Wednesday, Britvic will report its full-year results. Here, just-drinks takes a look at the company’s performance in the three months to the 28 September:
- In July, Britvic reported that its sales continued to struggle in the third quarter. It also announced its plans to purchase Empresa Brasileira de Bebidas e Alimentos in Brazil
- At the end of July, the company appointed SABMiller’s Mathew Dunn to the role of chief financial officer
- And in August, Britvic appointed a Unilever exec to lead its GB commercial operations
- Later in the month, the company reformulated ranges across its Robinsons Fruit Shoot My-5 and Hydro brands in a bid to reduce calories and sweetness levels
- It continued on the sugar-reduction trend with the launch of Tango Orange Sugar Free at the beginning of September
- Also in September, Britvic added Midnight Forest and Midnight Amber variants to its J2O range
