Guerrieri Rizzardi has re-employed its former international sales and marketing manager to assume the same post.
The family-owned Italian wine firm said today (26 April) that Rupert Dean will return to the post, having left Rizzardi in 2007 to join Austria-based ValVeri Wine Investment Group. Dean, who initially joined Rizzardi in 2006, left ValVeri last year as the economic downturn started to bite, and took a ten-month sabbatical in Latin America, specifically Cuba and Ecuador.
He replaces Marcos Marchiori who left the company in September last year. The position had been vacant until this month.
Dean, who has taken up the position at Rizzardi’s head office in Bardelino in Italy, will oversee the development of the company’s international sales channels and will be responsible for all the trade marketing activities across the Rizzardi portfolio.
