The event brings together breweries, analysts and drinks experts to discuss the hot topics facing the beer and cider categories.

This year, attendees can hear from senior executives at companies that also include Estrella Galicia, Corporación Hijos de Rivera, König Ludwig International and Mark Anthony Group.

The programme includes fireside chats and roundtables to dive deeper into key topics, providing a perfect opportunity to network.

This year is the 28th edition of the event and, on 28 April, the day before the start of the conference, features a tour of the Estrella Damm brewery.

On the first morning of the main conference, delegates can pre-register for a breakfast briefing exploring the structural shifts that are reshaping the beer market.

Day one proper will then start with a keynote address from Ramon Agenjo Bosch, a Damm board member and great-grandson of the company’s founder. Damm was founded in 1876 and, in the year of the company’s 150th anniversary, he will reflect on the current consumer trends facing brewers.

During the first day, delegates can choose between three streams that will discuss topics ranging from technologies to support ESG strategies, how brewers can use AI throughout their operations and the future for the ‘craft’ movement.

On day two, the head of Damm’s UK operations will kick off proceedings by presenting how the company sees the development of low-and-no category.

The second morning will also hear from Heineken digital and technology executive Janina Vriesekoop, who will set out how the Dutch giant is using digitalisation and AI to “become the best connected brewer”.

After a choice of three roundtable sessions before lunch, the afternoon programme starts with two streams to explore, featuring topics including the use of digital twins in manufacturing, building loyalty among beer drinkers and a fireside chat with UK brewing SME Prime Time Beer.

The event closes with JJ Delgado, the general manager of Move Estrella Galicia Digital, explaining the role Hijos de Rivera’s digital venturing unit plays in supporting the company’s wider business strategy.

You can find more information and booking details on the event website. We hope to see you there!
