The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 12.24% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.52% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.11% over the last three-month average share.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 39.58% in July 2022, registering a 24% decline over the previous month.

2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 33.33% share, a decrease of 48.39% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 18.75%, registering a 30.77% decline from June 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 6.25%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five consumer companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 37.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Unibel posted 12 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 50% over the previous month, followed by Hermes International with 4 jobs and a 55.56% drop. Ecotone with 4 IT jobs and Nestle with 3 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while Societe BIC recorded a decline of 33.33% with 2 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.33%, down by 31.03% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with an 8.33% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.33% share, down 69.23% over June 2022.
