Barrell Craft Spirits has released two blended Bourbon whiskies in the US.
BCS Gold Label Bourbon, which carries an abv of 56.77%, comprises a blend of 16- and 17-year-old whiskies that has spent a four-stage ageing process in “cherry bomb, oak-forward, high-proof and milk chocolate-forward” barrels for an unspecified period. The limited-edition expression, which carries an SRP of US499.99, is available now from selected off-premise outlets across 48 US states and online.
The blender and bottler is also rolling out Barrell New Year Bourbon 2022, which is made up of five-, six-, seven-, nine- and 14-year-old Bourbons that have been aged in American oak casks. The 57.7% abv whiskey retails for $89.99.
Founded in 2013 in Kentucky, Barrell Craft launched a new umbrella brand, Stellum Spirits, in March that focuses on cask strength American whiskies.
