Bacardi has added a limited-edition flavour to its namesake rum’s portfolio in the US.
Bacardi Tropical comprises Bacardi white rum blended with natural pineapple, coconut and guava fruit flavours. The 35% abv extension is available until Autumn in the US via alcohol e-tailer Drizly and at selected retailers nationwide.

The release is timed to coincide with ‘National Piña Colada’ and ‘National Mojito Day’ on 10 and 11 July, respectively.
Bacardi Tropical is the eighth addition to the brand’s flavoured rum stable in the US, which also includes Lime, Limón, Tangerine and Dragonberry iterations.
“At Bacardi, we know that flavoured rum is the fastest-growing segment in the category,” said Bacardi’s marketing director for North America, Maria Galis. “To give people a delicious new flavoured rum option and get them excited about what is sure to be an unforgettable summer, we created Bacardi Tropical.”
In May, the company rolled out Bahama Mama, Mojito and Sunset Punch variants for its Real Rum RTD cocktail portfolio in the US.
