The Greek-based Coca-Cola bottler, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company SA (CCHBC), has announced that it is, in collaboration with the Coca-Cola Company, to acquire 100% of the Polish mineral water company, Multivita spz, currently owned by the Polish food group, Maspex.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval in Poland. The purchase includes the brand and Multivita’s production facilities in Tylicz.
“This acquisition is a significant further commitment to our operations in Poland,” said CCHBC’s managing director, Irial Finan. “Multivita has great potential for continued growth in the rapidly expanding bottled water market. The purchase of this brand complements the strategy of the Coca-Cola system of selectively
broadening its beverage brands to satisfy consumers”.
