Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries has seen its rating lifted. Brokerage Altium Capital yesterday upped the brewer and pub owner from “hold” to “add”, citing an improved outlook for the company.


W&D yesterday posted a slight drop in full-year profits, but said that the first eight weeks of the new financial year had seen higher pub sales.


Altium has raised the price target to 800 pence from 750p.
