The Chilean soft drinks bottler, Coca-Cola Polar, posted a profit for the first half of 2003 of CHP1.60 billion, against a loss of CHP296.5m in the first half of 2002.

Operating profits rose from CHP2.99 billion to CHP3.37 billion, on revenues 10% higher at CHP36.49 billion.
