The Slovenian anti-trust regulator, PMU, has again rejected the integration of brewer, Heineken Slovensko, a.s. Nitra, with the distributor, Ledos Napoje, s.r.o.. The regulator originally rejected the move in October 2002, after which Heineken filed an appeal.

The PMU said the move by Heineken would lead to constraints in free competition of beer distribution to hotels and restaurants in the Levice, Zlate Moravce and Nove Zamky regions.
