The Australian winemaker Andrew Garrett Vineyard Estates is to change its name to International Vintners Australia Pty Ltd. The change will take effect on August 1.

“This will formalise a transition that has been in process for some time,” CEO, Brenton Atkinson, said today.

“The company generally has traded overseas as International Vintners Pty Ltd and within Australia as Andrew Garrett Vineyard Estates Pty Ltd.

“In keeping with the international success of our wine brands, the Board has decided that the new name is more representative of all our activities,” he said.

The company is owned by a group of private and corporate investors. It was restructured two years ago with an injection of new capital and management, which strengthened the focus on overseas and domestic market growth.
