Stolichnaya, the Russian vodka brand, has launched the first strawberry flavoured vodka in the UK, Stolichnaya Strasberi.
Fiona Lovatt, marketing manager for Stolichnaya at First Drinks, which distributes Stolichnaya in the UK said: “After months of anticipation we are excited to introduce Stoli Strasberi to the range of Stolichnaya flavoured vodkas. The new flavour is sure to prove very popular as it is a fantastic base for cocktails.”
Stolichnaya is at the centre of an ownership dispute between the Russian government and spirits group SPI. SPI has lost the rights to market or produce the brand in Russia. However the company still owns the international rights to Stoli and currently produces the vodka from Latvia.
