The chairman, president and CEO of the Canadian soft drinks producer, Cott Corp., Frank Weise, received a total remuneration of more than C$13m last year, mostly from excercising stock options.
According to details from the company’s proxy circular published in the Canadian press, Weise excercised C$9.8m in stock options in the year to December 28, 2002. His salary, bonuses and other benefits totalled around C$3.4m in 2002.
