Argentina’s wine industry has pulled together to devise a strategic plan, which sets out targets to increase exports from the country to US$2 billion and raise its share in the global market to 10% by 2020.


The sector currently exports US$600m and has a 2% share of the world wine market.


The plan lays out goals to target developed markets, including the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, the Scandinavian countries, North America and Japan, according to local reports.
