The French Champagne producer Boizel Chanoine has seen its turnover jump 29.9% for the first quarter of 2003, to €13.7m (US$15.8m).
Though the group said that the first quarter is not highly representative of the full year, it did say that sales in April and orders going forward pointed to a favourable forecast for the full year.
In 2002 the posted a €2.8m net attributable profit, down 31% year-on-year, and a €71.9m turnover, down 5%.
