The cranberry juice producer, Ocean Spray Cranberries, has appointed Randy C. Papadellis as its new chief executive officer. Papadellis (45) has been the co-operative’s president and chief operating officer for the past three years.
Papadellis succeeds H. Robert Hawthorne who resigned as CEO last November. Papadellis had been acting CEO since March.
“We’ve selected one of the brightest minds in the food-and-beverage business to position Ocean Spray for a new wave of success in the marketplace,” said board chairman, Robert L. Rosbe Jr. “With his skills as a brand marketer and his experience managing a billion-dollar-plus operation, Randy Papadellis is the right choice for this job.”
