The US brewer and cannabis group is nearing an an agreement to acquire parts of the BrewDog business.
The decision follows ratification of the deal by Argentina and Uruguay on Thursday (26 February).
The partnership with AB InBev will make Lowlander beer “accessible on a larger scale” in the Netherlands.
The business is expecting to book a decline in net sales "in the low single digit range", on a constant-currency basis this year.
In a statement, the Japanese conglomerate said the RTDs were “created with American consumers in mind”.
Revenue in the group's Europe segment shrank 2.5% compared to 2024, "which was below plan", Asahi said in an update.
The US drinks distributor said "just over 1% of its employees" were affected.
The recent funding round included participation from existing investors alongside new backers Lotus and Lifted Ventures.
