William Grant & Sons is releasing a new expression of its Hendrick’s gin brand with the sea-inspired Neptunia.

The extension has been produced using a blend of Scottish coastal botanicals that has a ‘bright citrus’ flavour. Classed as an experimental gin by Hendrick’s, the expression will be available globally in the on- and off-premise channels for a limited time.

Hendrick’s Neptunia was created on the Ayrshire coast of south-west Scotland and is part of the brand’s ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ range, which began in 2019. The line consists of a series of ‘experimentation’ gins created by master distiller Lesley Gracie.

“Most of my creations are based on memories – I play around with botanicals and combine them to recreate certain sensations,” said Gracie.
