UK start-up Vacay is launching a four-strong line of canned pre-mix cocktails under its namesake brand in the country.

The company said last week that Vacay is vegan, gluten-free and contains no artificial flavours or sweeteners. The range comprises:

  • Moscow Mule – 6.5% abv, Misty Isle vodka from the Isle of Skye, blended with ginger beer, lime juice and Angostura bitters
  • Tom Collins – 6.1% abv,  58 Gin with Sicilian lemon juice, soda water and natural cane sugar
  • Paloma – 5.7% abv, Blanco Tequila combined with pink grapefruit and lime juice, sparkling water and natural sugarcane
  • Blood Orange & Hibiscus Vodka Soda – 5.2% abv, Misty Isle vodka with blood orange juice, hibiscus syrup and sparkling water

“As the RTD category continues to grow, we’ve seen that premium canned cocktails mixed with top quality and natural ingredients are now the social beverage of choice for many consumers, particularly Millennials,” said Vacay’s founder, Chris Caruso. “We created Vacay as we saw the need to give consumers more exciting options for their summer picnics or nights in… . Our bright aesthetic and branding has been specifically created to drive desirability amongst consumers and assist in creating stand-out on the shelf.”
