The soft drinks producer, Pepsi Bottling Group Inc., has appointed Shaun Holliday as its president of international operations. He will have responsibility for the company’s European and Mexican activities.

Holliday, 45, was formerly chief executive of business software group, eMac Digital LLC. He will officially join the company next Monday.

Holliday’s position is a newly created post which is aimed at developing growth opportunities in international markets. PBG operates in the US, Canada, Greece, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Turkey.
