The third largest brewer in the US, Adolph Coors, is to join the growing list of low carbonated beer producers.
The company said yesterday that it would launch its brand “Aspen Edge” in 10 states early next year. A nationwide roll out will follow by the end of 2004.
The company said the brand was part of a “bid to capture market share in the expanding low-carbohydrate beer segment.”
Aspen Edge will be backed by a full media campaign, including TV, radio, print and sponsorships. It will be packaged in six-and 12-pack bottles and will be priced at the super-premium end of the market.
