US-based brewer The Boston Beer Company today named Bill Urich, 47, as chief financial officer, effective in early September.
As CFO, Urich will be responsible for all corporate financial and technology strategy along with business decision support for the organization.
Most recently, he served as chief financial officer at Acirca, a leading certified organic food and beverage company.
Prior to joining Acirca in 2001, Urich spent eight years at Diageo’s United Distillers and Vintners of North America business. During his tenure as vice president of finance & business development, he played a key role in the merger of International Distillers & Vintners with United Distillers.
