Scottish & Newcastle (S&N) has appointed Simon Ricketts (48) as group information services director, with effect from 1 December 2003.
Ricketts was previously chief information officer with Cadbury Schweppes plc, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a global information system strategy. He has also had senior roles with British Steel plc and Itnet plc.
Ricketts will be a member of S&N’s executive management group and will report to Ian McHoul, group finance director.
S&N has also appointed group marketing and group operations directors, details of these appointments will follow shortly, the company said.
