Allied Domecq denied yesterday rumours that it planned to change its joint brokers Cazenove and Citigroup.
The company, which owns Beefeater gin and Mumm Champagne, issued a statement to say it had noted recent speculation in London’s financial district that it was reviewing its brokers and considering the selection of new ones.
“The speculation is entirely without foundation,” the company said.
