XED Beverages has expanded the US footprint of SESH Cocktail Meets Seltzer, while also adding four new variants to the premix cocktail brand's portfolio. The full range is available from this week through selected off-premise outlets in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Tennessee. The additional markets join the brand’s existing footprint of Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Ohio. Meanwhile, the Mimosa, Spicy Mango Margarita, Whiskey Soda and Whiskey Ginger variants, revealed today, join Moscow Mule, Paloma, Mojito and Gin & Tonic flavours in the canned cocktail portfolio, which first launched last year. "After establishing a strong following and demand around the first four flavours, we have heard our customers' requests to add new cocktails to our lineup,” said XED Beverage co-founder Ezekiel Bronfman. “With the incredible velocity and rate-of-sale metrics we are seeing in our first four test markets, we are incredibly excited to expand this brand with some of the best retail partners in the country." Earlier this month, trade association the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States revealed that pre-mixed cocktails were the fastest-growing spirits segment in sales terms last year, expanding 42.3% to US$1.6bn.
