Pernod Ricard has rolled out new packaging for an iteration of its Martell Cognac brand to mark the commencement of the Lunar New Year this week. Martell Cordon Bleu ‘The Audacious Voyage’ comprises the brand’s flagship Cognac housed in a specially-designed bottle and gifting box. The package, which is exclusive to the Global Travel Retail channel, is available to purchase for a limited period at an SRP of US250 per 75cl unit from the following Asia-based airports - Hong Kong International, Taipei, Macau, Hainan, Changi, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Vietnam. “We are excited to be part of these celebrations with our new Martell Cordon Bleu limited-time duty free exclusive and to share the free spirit of the Maison Martell with Cognac lovers around the world,” said the marketing VP for Pernod Ricard’s GTR unit, Liya Zhang. To support the roll-out, the company has set up activations promoting the launch across retail spaces in the Chinese province of Hainan. Pernod is not the only spirits brand owner to mark the 'Year of the Tiger' with limited edition pack offerings, with Remy Cointreau and Diageo also getting on board.
