Pernod Ricard’s Havana Club rum brand has partnered with Frenna on a marketing campaign fronted by the Ghanaian-Dutch rap artist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8GG5c-tfo4 The ‘A Toast to the Culture’ campaign comprises the release of a Frenna-inspired limited-edition bottle of Havana Club 7, created by Dutch-based designer Julian Roebling. The Havana Club x Frenna bottle is for sale in the Netherlands and Belgium at selected stores with an SRP of EUEU29.29 (US$30.89) per 70cl bottle. To launch the campaign Havana Club has worked with Frenna to produce a music video titled ‘Waistline.’ The video features music by Rotterdam based artist Zedorix and was directed by Robin van Geeman. “This partnership marks the next chapter in Havana Club’s series of successful collaborations with renowned artists and brands including Skepta, Bad Gyal and Daily Paper,” said Havana Club's international global MD Anne Martin. “We look forward to continuing to support promising creatives and recruit the rum drinkers of tomorrow.” Last month, Just Drinks caught up with Havana Club International CEO Christian Barré to discuss supply chain issues and the impact of the cocktails-at-home market.
