Moroccan group ONA (ex-Omnium Nord-Africain) has announced the sale of its activities in beers, fizzy drinks and distribution to Brasseries et Glacières Internationales (BGI), a subsidiary of France’s Castel group.


The deal, worth an estimated 1.7 billion dirhams (€159m) concerns ONA’s brewery subsidiaries, SNBM, Branoma and the Brasseries de Tanger, SCBG (fizzy drinks) SIM (distribution) and Maropac (bottle rack manufacture).
