Molson Coors Beverage Co is doubling its hard seltzer presence in Canada with expansions of its Vizzy Hard Seltzer and Coors Seltzer brands. The Coors Seltzer range is adding a ‘Splash Pack’, which will be available nationwide. The packs contain four new flavours - Strawberry, Peach, Blue Raspberry and Fruit Punch - in 35cl cans at 4.5% abv. Also expanding this month is the Vizzy line with the introduction of a variety pack containing four flavours; Blackberry Lemon, Raspberry Tangerine, Papaya Passionfruit and Strawberry Watermelon. The Vizzy portfolio is packaged in 35cl cans at 5% abv. “Last year was an amazing first year, and we have larger goals to grow hard seltzer in Canada,” said senior brand manager for seltzer & flavour at Molson Coors, Michelle Sowinski. “Launching so many new flavours, new campaigns, new commitments and new experiences shows how important this category is and how serious we’re taking it as a company.” Earlier this month, the group increased Vizzy’s US market footprint with the introduction of Vizzy Mimosa Hard Seltzer, its first mimosa-flavoured alcoholic sparkling water.
