The soft drinks bottler, Coca-Cola Femsa, has recorded a net profit for the second quarter of MXN361m, down 56% from MXN829m in the second quarter of 2002.

Operating profit rose from MXN1.226 billion to MXN1.742 billion, on revenues up from MXN4.755 billion to MXN8.720 billion, boosted by the company’s acquisition of Panamerican Beverages (Panamco) in May.
