Lalique Group has released a limited-edition expression from its The Glenturret single malt Scotch brand in partnership with luxury car-maker Jaguar.

The E-type 60th Anniversary Single Malt, which has been released in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the car’s ‘birth’, has been created to “evoke the E-type Jaguar’s charisma and spirit”. The expression is at least 30 years old and is drawn from four casks; three Oloroso Sherry-seasoned European oak butts and a single Amontillado sherry-seasoned American oak quarter cask.

Each of the 265 bottles come in a custom wooden box together with a book and key ring.

Lalique, best known for its crystal production operations, took joint-ownership of the Glenturret distillery two years ago, following the divestment of the facility by Edrington.
