International Beverage Holding’s Scottish gin brand Caorunn is expanding its range with a blood orange expression in the UK.

Caorunn Blood Orange gin has been distilled at International Beverage Holding’s Balmenach distillery in the Scottish Highlands using five botanicals local to the region, as well as six traditional gin botanicals. The spirit is infused with natural blood orange flavouring and a hint of chilli essence.

The blood orange flavour was decided upon following consumer research, with 74% of those surveyed by the brand stating they would purchase a gin infused with the flavour, Caorunn added.

In 2018, International Beverage Holdings repackaged its Caorunn gin, rolling out a redesigned bottle in a bid to stand out on shelves and bars across the UK.
