HUNWines has launched a non-alcoholic canned wine in the UK.

HUN Alcohol Free (AF) is a sparkling South African Chenin Blanc. The new beverage is vegan-friendly and has an abv of 0.5%.

It will be available to purchase from the company’s website from 12 June as well as unspecified off-premise locations.

According to the company, HUN AF is the UK’s first canned non-alcoholic wine and will remain part of the brand’s core range moving forward.

“With 8.6m of Brits actively moderating their alcohol consumption, HUN AF has been designed for the modern-day Millennial drinker, who wants to enjoy the morning after just as much as the night before,” said HUNWines co-founder Mark Wollard. “Less alcohol content shouldn’t mean less flavour, so we worked closely with the producer to ensure the de-alcoholisation process retained 100% of the wine’s original aromas and flavour.”
