Heroes Drinks Co has launched a spiced rum in the UK.

2 Guineas Spiced Rum, launched earlier this week, is described by the company as a “small-batch, premium rum” and is available exclusively from the Heroes Drinks website. The company added that GBP3 (US$4) from each purchase will go towards UK-based lifeboat charities and hospitality funds.

Heroes Drinks was founded by former soldier Chris Gillan.

“We are delighted to be able to release this premium rum just in time for Christmas,” Gillan said. “We expect the 2 Guineas Spiced Rum will prove very popular with our customers, who are looking for something premium and different.”
