The Association of the Dutch Soft Drink Industry says it will attempt to recover the millions in losses resulting from the introduction on January 1 by the German government of a deposit/return system for the retail sale of canned soft drinks.
The association says that the Dutch soft drinks industry is expected to lose out to the tune of €16m ($17.2m) from lost exports to Germany.
