The Finnish drinks group, Hartwall, sold 387.5m litres of beverages in 2002, up 3% from 376.2m litres in 2001, according to data published by the Finnish federation of brewing and soft drinks companies.

According to Federation, Hartwall had a 45% share of the beer and soft drinks markets in Finland in 2002, virtually unchanged from 2001.

The second largest drinks group in Finland, Sinebrychoff, sold 382m litres of beer and soft drinks in 2002, the Federation reported, up 5.5% from 362.2m litres in 2001, with its market share rising from 43.5% in 2001 to 44.4% in 2002. The market share of the third largest player, Olvi, fell from 11.2% in 2001 to 10.5% in 2002.
