Lion Nathan has increased its holding in China. The drinks group has confirmed today that it has acquired the Changzhou Hua Xia Brewing Co. Ltd for RMB17m (US$2m). Lion Nathan will assume working capital and other liabilities of RMB65m.

As well as buying Changzhou Hua Xia, the group has secured full ownership of its Wuxi brewery by acquiring the remaining 10%, giving it full control of the business.
