The Chilean-based Coca-Cola bottler, Coca-Cola Embonor, has reported a 3% increase in sales volumes for the first quarter of 2003, against the corresponding quarter last year. Volumes for the first quarter reached 48.71m unit cases.
The company attributed the sales rise to growth in Peru and Bolivia, where sales grew by 3.6% and 12.1% respectively. Embonor posted a loss of CHP16.473 billion (US$23m) in 2002.
