The Canadian spirits producer, Corby Distilleries Ltd., has renewed its agency, bottling and service deals with the UK-based international wines and spirits group, Allied Domecq. The renewal means the company will continue to market and sell Allied Domecq brands in Canada.

As part of the deal, Allied Domecq will continue to perform certain bottling and administrative services for Corby.

The new contract will last until the end of August 2004; the previous agreement was scheduled to expire at the end of August 2003.

Interestingly, a press release from Allied said: “In the event that Allied Domecq participates in certain global consolidation activity within the spirits industry, Allied Domecq may terminate the agreements on six months notice.”
