Beam Suntory’s Hornitos Tequila Seltzer Pineapple – Product Launch

Bean Suntory has added a third Hornitos Tequila Seltzer flavour to the range seven months after its launch.

Hornitos Tequila Seltzer Pineapple joins Lime and Mango in the 5%-abv hard seltzer’s line-up. Beam Suntory unveiled Hornitos Tequila Seltzer in March.

The launch of the Tequila-flavoured alcoholic sparkling water is just one of Beam Suntory’s recent expansions into US hard seltzer, which is seeing distillers challenge beer’s grip on the category. In July, Beam Suntory announced a partnership with The Boston Beer Co to launch more hard seltzers including one for the Sauza Tequila brand.

Also this year, Diageo purchased canned Tequila-style cocktail maker Far West Spirits while adding capacity to its US canning capabilities. Far West produces the Lone River ranch water brand.
