Bacardi has launched a new flavoured expression from its Bombay Sapphire Gin brand.

Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru Murcian Lemon is made using lemons from Spain’s Murcia region as well as mandarins and navel oranges. The flavour is available for UK-based consumers to purchase from the Bombay Sapphire online store now, ahead of a  wider roll-out across other European markets in the coming months.

The ‘Premier Cru’ iteration, which means ‘first grown’ in French, is made using what the brand owner describes as its “characteristic vapour infusion” process at Bombay’s UK-based distillery.

“We are delighted that gin fans will soon be able to taste this breath-taking new taste of Bombay Sapphire,” said master distiller Dr Anne Brock. “It’s a multi-faceted celebration of the famous Murcia citrus fruits and I am incredibly proud of the meticulous production processes.”

Last month, Bacardi rolled out the ‘Stir Your Senses’ campaign from Bombay in Europe, having debuted the push in the US in August.
