Two now suspended employees of the Australian Penfolds winery have been arrested over thefts from the winery of more than A$614,000 (US$368,000) of premium wine since 2000.

Names of the two, a man and woman, have not been released and they will appear in court in June. Police said they believed the couple had been selling the wines within Australia and did not know whether any had reached international markets. Among the wines alleged to have been stolen were valuable bottles of Penfolds best-known Grange wine.
