AUSTRALIA: Exports continue to surge

Australian wine exports reached new highs in value and value for the year ended January 2003, according to latest figures from Wine and Brandy Corporation. Volume grew 25% for the year to January 2002, according to the Corporation, which issues year to year figures on a monthly basis. A total of 474m litres was sold for an average A$4.87 a litre (US$2.92).
