The Argentinean brewing concern, Quilmes Industrial, has announced that it is to merge its brewing and soft drinks operations, in response to the economic crisis in Argentina. The merged division will be headed up by Nestor del Campo, who was formerly in charge of the company’s brewing operations.

Quilmes has also announced that Gustavo Castelli is to take over as chief financial officer, replacing Carlos Olivieri who has left the company.
