Anheuser-Busch InBev is set to put the 'official beer & hard seltzer' status for its Bud Light brand to use next month with the NFL draft and off-season in North America. The sponsorship arrangement will see Bud Light as the presenting sponsor of the '2022 NFL Draft' on 28 April in Las Vegas. While the Super Bowl was last month, the NFL hosts a series of off-season games during which the brand will have a high visibility. Bud Light is also the official sponsor of NFL celebrations, meaning that touchdown celebrations or team dances will be accompanied by brand placement. North of the border in Canada, A-B InBev is activating content for Budweiser through its Labatt Breweries division, with the brand continuing as an official sponsor of the NFL in the market. Bud Light has been an official sponsor of the NFL since 2011. “For years, Bud Light has been a staple during the NFL’s regular season," said the NFL's senior VP of sponsorship management, Tracie Rodburg. "We’re thrilled they will now be alongside us for some of the biggest moments during our off-season, and there is none bigger than the Draft.” Bud Light was the only alcohol sponsor of the NFL until last year when Diageo became the organisation’s official spirits sponsor.
