- In August, the company confirmed it was keeping a “heightened security presence” at one of its Malaysian breweries after reports terrorists were planning an attack
- In the same month, the brewer said it was “considering” closing some of its breweries in Russia as the country’s beer market continued to falter
- At the end of September, Carlsberg suspended production at one of its Baltika Breweries’ facilities in Russia.
