The proportion of beverage companies hiring for ‘connectivity’-related positions fell back last month, according to recently-released figures.

A total of 23.5% of the companies included in GlobalData’s analysis were recruiting for at least one position in the area in April. The figure represents a decline on the 30% level for connectivity-related vacancies in the corresponding month a year earlier. In March this year, the rate was also higher, at 26.5%.

Of all advertised positions in the global beverage industry in April, 0.6% were linked to connectivity - the highest monthly figure recorded in the last 12 months. In the corresponding month of 2021, the level was 0.5%.

GlobalData's research shows that beverage companies are hiring for connectivity jobs at a lower rate than the average for all companies in the firm's job analytics database, which stood at 1.4%.
