Of all the deal types, venture financing saw most activity in February 2022 with 14 transactions, representing a 50% share for the region.

In second place was M&A with ten deals, followed by private equity deals with four transactions, respectively capturing a 35.7% and 14.3% share of the overall deal activity for the month.

In terms of value of deals, M&A was the leading category in North America’s beverage industry with $248.67m, while venture financing and private equity deals totalled $100.83m and $11.35m, respectively.
