The proportion of drinks manufacturing companies hiring for data analytics-related positions dropped significantly in June 2022, data shows.
Some 67.6% of the companies monitored by GlobalData – Just Drinks’ parent – were recruiting for at least one such position last month.
This latest figure was lower than the 80% of companies that were hiring for data analytics-related jobs a year ago.
When it came to the rate of all job openings that were linked to data analytics, 5.1% of newly-posted job advertisements were linked to the topic.
Data analytics is one of the topics that GlobalData has identified as being a key disruptive force facing companies in the coming years. Companies that excel and invest in these areas now are thought to be better prepared for the future business landscape and better equipped to survive unforeseen challenges.

By GlobalDataGlobalData says its analysis suggests food manufacturers are hiring for AI jobs at a rate lower than the average for all companies within the research group’s jobs analytics database. The average among all companies stood at 3.3% in July.
